Isolines ares lines that are drawn on a field map to connect all of the points on that map that have the same value. Such maps may indicate places with equal altitude, temperature, barometric pressure, wind speed and direction and wind shear. The map shown has all of the isolines drawn in, at an interval of 10 (each line is 10 units apart).
